Marine Widow Fights To Keep Camp Pendleton Cross Up http://www.10news.com/video/30000360/index.html
I think it’s absurd to consider a cross memorial to a fallen marine to be a violation of the U.S. constitution. Crosses have been used to mark tombs of fallen soldiers for a long time in this country. Its a sign of respect and love. Every national cemetary is public property and they are full of crosses marking graves. Mere common sense as well as well-established traditions makes the cross on a soldiers grave a revered sign of respect. There is no greater sacrifice a soldier can make other than his or her life for country.
This is a mis-guided attempt to denegrate the spirit of America as well as its constitution.
