Repast at New Life Assembly of God, East Berlin, PA
Anyone willing to bring a covered dish contribution is welcome to do so.

For those of you who have “volunteered” to assist on the day of the funeral, we will be meeting at 8:00 AM at the church. Those of you who cannot come that early, we appreciate your help whenever you can arrive.
I will have instruction and plans for the day at the meeting so that you can have the information readily available throughout the day.
If you are planning on being at the services all day, we request/suggest that you park at the satellite parking in East Berlin at the Tucker Industrial complex at 224 E King St, East Berlin, PA (on Rte. 234). We will be arranging shuttle type service to help you get to the church. Please contact Susan 717-870-9530 cell or Mike 717-870-9532 on morning of service or at home 717-259-0247. We are trying to have the volunteers park here because it will save parking spaces at the church. The ground is very wet and may not be suitable to be parked on that day so, this company was quite generous in permitting us to park our overflow there.
Please check your emails tomorrow because I will probably be doing a mailing to you to further explain plans for the day.
We appreciate any covered dishes that you can bring for the repast at the church after the graveside services. Please do not bring soups because we will not have bowls in which to serve it.
Snack foods may also be brought to be served at the church while the burial graveside service is taking place. The repast will not begin until those going to the graveside have returned. Family, close friends, speakers will be served first at the meal. (Buffet style)
Please get plenty of rest because we will have plenty to do on Friday, but it is our hospitality and professional behavior that will help these services flow smoothly throughout the day. Your help is greatly appreciated and welcomed. Thank you — I know that the Lord will bless you for your service this day.
I WISHED THAT I HAVE KNOWN HER BEFORE SHE DIED BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO TALKED TO HER ABOUT SOME THINGS THAT I SEE AND ASK FOR . I KNOW SHE IS IN A GOOD PLACE BECAUSE MY HEART FEELS LIKE I HAVE KNOWN HER FOR YEARS. SHE IS LIKE MY MAMA. ONE DAY I WILL DO THE SAME TO HELP OTHERS LIKE MAMA. GOD BLESS
I have been searching for more information on Mary”Mama” Jenkins. I was privileged to hear her and see her several times at conferences held by Billye Brim and Prayer Mountain. If you compile a book or etc from your information…will be available to me? She was such a wonderful sister
in Jesus and everyone that knew her loved her…I know she is so happy now in the presence of the one she lived for. We will miss her here, but so happy she if finally Home with Jesus.
