POWER HEALING VERSES

 

Hosea 4:6— My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

 

Proverbs 4:20-22— My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.

 

Joshua 1:8— This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

 

God laments that His people perish for lack of knowledge. He exhorts His people to accept His words and receive them, as they are life to those that find them and health to all their flesh.

 

3 John 2— Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

                God desires that all His people prosper and be in health

 

2 Timothy 3:16a —All Scripture is given by inspiration of God…(literally means “God breathed”)

                The Bible declares that all Scripture comes directly from God.

 

Mark 9:23— Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

Mark 16:18b —they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.

 

Luke 10:19— “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

 

Jesus gives his followers, that is, all believers, authority over all the power of the devil. See also Luke 10:20 and John 14:12. Believe, lay hands on, and declare victory.

 

 

Luke 13:11— And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.

 

Jesus refers to sickness as a spirit of infirmity.

 

 

Deuteronomy 28:35— The LORD will strike you in the knees and on the legs with severe boils which cannot be healed, and from the sole of your foot to the top of your head.

 

Deuteronomy 28:61— Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law, will the LORD bring upon you until you are destroyed.

 

Use verse 35 to seek healing below the waist and verse 61 for healing above the waist under the curse of the law. This is appropriate for praying for healing for non-believers and those who believe they are under the law and/or that God has put a sickness upon them.

 

Galatians 3:13— Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree “)

 

Use this verse to proclaim healing and victory from all sickness and disease attributed to the curse of the law as called out in Deuteronomy 28:35 and 28:61.

 

 

Nahum 1:9b — He will make an utter end of it. Affliction will not rise up a second time.

Use the verse to prevent healing from being lost through doubt or attack by Satan.

 

 

Isaiah 53:5— But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The Chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

 

Matthew 8:17 —that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:

“He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”

 

1 Peter 2:24— who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness… .by whose stripes you were healed.

 

Use Isaiah 53:5, Matthew 8:17 and I Peter 2:24 to claim healing from any infirmity, sin, injury or disease on ourselves, or others. Also useful for resisting loss of healing through attacks of the devil.

 

 

John 14:14 — If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

 

Believers will receive anything they ask for in Jesus name.

 

Matthew 18:19 — Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, “It will be done for them by My Father in heaven.”

 

Use this verse for times when two or more believers gather together in Jesus’ name to pray.

 

 

James 4:7— Therefore submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.

 

Colossians 1:13-14— He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love. In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

 

 

Use these verses, James 4:7 and Colossians 1:13-14, to get rid of the devil and claim victory over the devil, including spirits of infirmity.

 

 

James 5:14-16— Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray

over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he hath committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

 

Use James 5:14-16 to anoint and pray for the sick among the brethren.

 

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  (Use this verse to become a righteous person.)

Ezekiel  16:6— And when I passed by you and saw you struggling in your own blood, I said to you in your blood, “Live!” Yes, I said to you in your blood, “Live!”

 

Ezekiel  36:26— I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

 

Use these verses in Ezekiel to pray for those with blood disease, clogged blood vessels, and diseased or injured hearts.

 

 

Isaiah 41:15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shall thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shall make the hills as chaff.

 

               Use this verse to pray for new teeth in the flesh and in the spirit to destroy mountains.

 

 

Matthew 6:15— But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

 

Matthew 18:21-22— Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?

Jesus said to him, “1 do not say to you, “up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

 

Matthew 18:32-35 — Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, “You wicked servant! I forgave you “all that debt because you begged me.

                Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you? “And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.

                So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”

 

Colossians 3:13— “bearing with one another, and forgiving one another. If anyone has a complaint against another, even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.

 

Ephesians 4:32 – And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake           hath forgiven you.

 

Use these verses to lead a repentant brother to forgiveness that he may receive forgiveness and healing from out heavenly Father. Unforgiveness is a major impediment to receiving blessings, and, especially salvation through the Blood of Jesus.

 

 

 

1 John 5:18 — We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.

 

Use this verse as a “born of God” believer to declare victory over every form sickness and disease. Substitute the name of the disease or sickness for “wicked one” such as, cancer, heart disease, Diabetes, arthritis, lupus, failing eyesight, pneumonia, flu, etc.

 

John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

 

                Worship and praise His Name and expect a miracle.
