What Makes Revival?

One of the most mis-understood and over-used words in church circles today is “revival.” Every time there is a move of God people are quick to label it a revival. However not every move of God is a revival.  In the Old Testament the repentance of Nineveh at the threat of judgement from God as reported by Jonah sparked a true revival. In 1970 at a small obscure college campus called Asbury a revival broke out. The revival encompassed North America and crossed denominational lines. There was no preaching it was all testimonies of God working in individual lives. Lives being changed through confession and repentance.

Below is a short 30 minute video of that revival.
